High School Day

April 23 2004
Need Volunteers

As part of the education mission we are looking into the possibility of
having a Friday High School Day at the con. Students will be brought in with
their supervisors, offered a special admission price, given a cycle of 4
things to do, and be given guided tours through the cycle. Friday is a small
attendance day, especially from 9:30 to 1:30. We are envisioning a separate
entrance, separate badges that would give them a discount when they come
back later Friday night or Saturday, and a specially designed schedule that
would answer to our education needs as well as theirs. Contact person?
Currently we don't have one. Julie, Wally, Max, Chris, are among the
creative minds wrestling with this one. Want to help? Email the staff
mailing list. One of us will get it.
